Like the music they play, Big Love Car Wash is full of dichotomies. They’re whimsical, yet serious. Fanciful, but pragmatic. Filled with lofty dreams, while grounded in reality — and fully aware that one singular truth matters above all: When you finally find the perfect crew of wizards and conjure real musical magic, you will do whatever it takes to share that magic with the world.
Sol Chase (mandolin, bouzouki, vocals), Everett Wren (vocals, fiddle, dobro, lap steel, guitar, percussion), David Rabinowicz (vocals, guitar, piano) and Taylor Turner (upright and electric bass) discovered that magic the first time they shared a stage together in 2022. Leaning into their love of bluegrass, folk, jazz, Celtic and rock idioms, they honed an Americana-oriented, bluegrass-steeped sound rooted in tradition, but boldly exploratory. That sound takes flight on their self-produced debut album, Daydream, recorded at the fabled Arlyn Studios in Austin, where most of the band is based (Chase splits his time between Ireland and the U.S.).
Daydream’s 16 tracks capture their bluegrass essence — precise, yet organic — while reflecting the wide-ranging influences and diverse personalities of four friends who now refer to themselves as “found family.”
Even the band’s name is a reference to something like a group hug. It came from late Yonder Mountain String Band frontman and jamgrass luminary Jeff Austin, one of Chase’s major influences. Chase had once heard Austin announce to an adoring audience that the vibe he was receiving from them felt like moving through “a big love car wash.” The sentiment resonated with all four bandmates, who particularly enjoy the energy exchange of live performances.

A Hill Country Texan through and through, Georgia Parker's sound is of a quality and character that can only be acquired over many years of listening to country greats like Willie Nelson, Cindy Walker, and Bob Wills.
As a young musician she spent much of her time at her family’s country home in Boerne, Texas, situated on the Guadalupe River. Her time as a naturalist and survivalist instructor made her deeply connected with the outdoors, a connection that is reflected in her stripped-down acoustic sets and her unadulterated musical style.
She started her professional career as an upright bassist in 2013. Living in Austin, Texas at the time, she had the opportunity to tour and play with, as well as learn from, some of the best in the country.
In 2015, Georgia picked up her acoustic guitar and began performing a series of western swing and classic country shows. She has fronted several regional acts, including the Al Dressen's Super Swing Revue and The Railhouse Band. In her short career, Georgia has already made appearances at legendary venues such as The Broken Spoke (Austin), The BLue Door (Oklahoma City), and The Western Swing Hall of Fame (San Marcos).
While Georgia is a bonafide Texan, she is well-traveled and has spent a good amount of her professional career working with musicians in Colorado where she recorded her first self-titled EP. She also supported many local CO acts including Jake Simpson of The Little Smokies, Banshee Tree, and Jeremy Mohney at prestigious venues such as The Boulder Theater, and E Town Hall (Boulder, CO).
Georgia Parker’s accomplishments and travels can only begin to scratch the surface of the character and charm that she brings to the world of Western Swing music. Her smooth vocals and commitment to great musicianship are made clearly apparent in her performances. She has a mystical way of capturing the attention of audiences and has been known to steal the show from her musical compatriots; which doesn’t seem to bother them much.
